ResolV Partners was founded by Bill Dix to help organizations achieve meaningful results in the Iowa Legislature. With more than 18 years of legislative experience, including service as both Senate Majority Leader and Assistant House Majority Leader, Bill brings a deep understanding of how decisions are made in the State Capitol.

Since launching ResolV Partners, Bill has successfully represented respected organizations like Fareway Stores, delivering on their top priorities. Most recently, he helped secure critical updates to Iowa’s bottle deposit law, removing Fareway’s responsibility for collecting empty bottles and cans—a key victory achieved through strategic planning and strong relationships.

Bill’s leadership track record is rooted in results. As Senate Majority Leader, he recruited, guided, and coached the election of all but four sitting state senators. Other notable accomplishments of Bill’s during his time in leadership include recruiting Pat Grassley to replace himself in the Iowa House and recruiting Joni Ernst and Mariannette Miller-Meeks to the Iowa Senate. Pat is now Speaker of the Iowa House, Joni is a U.S. Senator, and Mariannette is a U.S. Congresswoman. Bill also worked closely with both Governor Branstad and Lt Governor Reynolds to pass the most pro-business agenda in Iowa history during his time as Senate Majority Leader. His relationships with Iowa’s most influential policy makers remain strong, built over decades of trust and collaboration.
